1. Remove temptation

Hide the cookies, give away the chocolate and bin the frozen pizza. Out of sight, out of mind.

2. Grab a pen

Grab a notepad and pen and write your reasons for doing this cleanse. Jot down on paper your thoughts, feelings and emotions as it’ll really help to refer back to in few days.

Friends and family will provide support, however going out and being surrounded by Bangkok’s cheap food and alcohol, could prove to be a hard offer to resist. We recommend you take a few days off to focus on yourself and your health goals.

4. Load up on lemons

If weight loss is one of your most important goals, you can’t go wrong with Lemons. Enjoy a glass as soon as you wake up to kick-start your metabolism for longer. Hot or cold H20 with freshly squeezed lemon… Tastes amazing and recommended during any cleanse.

5. Reduce your coffee intake

If you are a regular coffee or tea drinker or you think you are addicted to caffeine we suggest you continue drinking coffee or tea (without any milk, cream, sugar etc.) so you do not go through caffeine withdrawal during the cleanse and blame the juices. However, the more you reduce beforehand, the better your journey.

1. Time for tea

Alongside H20 and Lemon, you can also have as many herbal teas as you like. Perhaps this is a great excuse to try some more exotic blends, especially any herbs that are beneficial to and aid cleansing.

2. Keep yourself occupied

If you don’t have anything to do, and you’re feeling hungry… the pull of your kitchen could be too great. Try and relax and refocus your mind with light or creative activities such as painting or doing a puzzle.

3. Treat yourself

If you're giving your insides a spa, then why not give your outsides one too? Wellness is about mind, body and soul. So, go on, treat yourself with a spa or massage (We recommend a lymphatic massage, these regulate blood flow and relax the body fully).

4. Moderate exercise

Whereas it’s important to stay active, (and our sport cleanse should greatly increase your energy) if your new to juicing, your body might not be used to the reduced calories and no solids. So if you’re still planning to exercise, take it slow and steady, at least during the first few days of your journey.

5. Say goodnight

A hour or two before bed, put down your mobile and turn off your TV and opt for a warm bath and book instead. Remember our Strength+ and Heart+ juices can be drank hot or cold, and they contain Almonds, which inturn contains both tryptophan, (an amino acid that acts as a sedative) and magnesium (which acts as a muscle relaxant) Combined both will help to induce a deep, peaceful sleep.
